Artist's Description

Historic Victorian Railways R Class Hudson loco #704. The R class were introduced in 1951. This particular engine was the most famous of them all, having been put on display int the Industrial Power section of the festival of Britain in Glasgow in 1951.

My early life was devoted to photography, taking an interest from a very young age and then working as a professional news media photographer from 1982 to 2015. I always enjoyed creating artistic-styled images in addition to my press work, and my output of these ramped up with the increased possibilities that came with the advent of digital photography in the late 90s. Since then I have greatly enjoyed carefully learning many creative methods to produce striking and original works. I live in Brisbane, Australia and exhibit in my local area.
